The Bill of Rights is a piece of legislature, it conveys the personal freedoms enjoyed by all Americans, such as the right to free speech, the right to petition the government, the right to keep and bear arms, the right to a fair and speedy trial, and right against unlawful search and seizure, to name a few. Although both extremely important documents for the American people and American history, the Constitution is apart of our everyday lives, whether we know it or not. The freedoms we experience in the United States is due to the Constitution's stipulations about such freedoms. The Declaration was, and still remains, just a declaration of independence.
