Whenever you see the word "of" in math, it means multiply. No matter what you're talking about or what you're doing. So this question is asking what is 20% * 1200. What I would do is convert the percent into a decimal by dividing it by 100 (move decimal point two places to the left) and remove the percent sign. So it's 0.2 * 1200. Ignore any decimals for now and just multiply 1200 times 2. This is 2400. Now in the first number, there was <u>one</u> decimal place. In the second number, there were <u>zero</u> decimal places. <u>One</u> plus <u>zero</u> is one. So you add one decimal place to the answer. So it'd be 240.0. However, you don't really need a "point zero" at the end, so 240 is fine.
So my understanding from this you have to make it y = mx + b so m stands for the slope there’s different ways to find it as shown in the first picture. I’ll try to make another comment since this only lets me take one picture at a time.
