Symbiotic association means one of the organisms, called endosymbiont, is present inside the cells of its host. The most typical examples are endosymbiosis theory of mitochondria and chloroplasts which, according to some theories, are cellular organelles of bacterial origin.
But these theories are still discussed because there are in fact arguments that support endosymbiosis theory and also arguments that disapprove it.

Here are the answer for the exercise explaining the endosymbiosis
A ==> oxygen-using procaryote (before being a mitochondrion)
B ==> mitochondrion
C ==> Nucleus
D ==> endoplasmic reticulum
E ==> Host cell: ancestor of all eucaryotes
F ==> photosynthetic procaryote (before being a chloroplast)
G ==> chloroplast
H ==> Host cell: Ancestor for photosynthetic eucaryotes

If the isthmus formed gradually rather than suddenly, the morphological species, biological species, and phylogenetic species concepts.

What is Isthmus genetical species?

The formation of the Isthmus of Panama, a slender land bridge that connects North and South America, caused the Pacific and Caribbean populations of marine organisms to split off about 3 million years ago. On both sides of the isthmus, different species of snapping shrimp have been studied. There appeared to be seven pairs of species, with one species of each pair being found in the Pacific and the other in the Caribbean, according to the morphological species concept.

The various species pairs inhabit slightly different ocean depths. These species pairs, which are divided by the isthmus, were indeed the closest relatives of one another, according to the researchers' estimates of phylogenies based on mitochondrial DNA sequences.

Which drugs require caution while being used with an older adult who has developed heart failure due to hypertension?
OleMash [197]

Answer:

Answer ..... Decongestants, Amphetamines and over-the- counter cold medications.

Explanation:

The above mentioned drugs require caution while administering them to an older adult with heart failure developed due to hypertension , this is because the drugs have the tendency of increasing water retention and increasing cardiac load. And this is very dangerous for such person.

Note that , Long -acting sedatives and narcotics can be administered safely, because they have no negative effect on cardiac function.
