Answer:

The correct answer is option d, that is, endocytosis.

Explanation:

A procedure in which a component gains entry within the cell without getting passed through the cell membrane is termed as endocytosis. In this process, the cell captivates the substances from the external of the cell by engulfing and combining them with its plasma membrane.

The process is further differentiated into three distinct kinds. These are phagocytosis, pinocytosis, and receptor-mediated endocytosis.

Give a basic definition of evolution as taught in this Unit 2. Answer should be at least 3 sentences long and include at least 4
RideAnS [48]

All things must be different and the same. the reason I think this is because no certain evolution change has made the subject stay the same or make it completely different.

the alleles has made changes in the DNA structure therefore causing some sort of "evolution". to make a more specific example is in the ancient crocodiles, when they lived they had different environmental changes and how that effected them. somewhere the DNA structure was changed and made them what they are today.

all in all the evolution in this unit has shown what happens during the process and how it starts.

now this hasnt been graded but this should get you a decent start.

Nutrients are brought to spongy bone by diffusion through canaliculi

 • Diffusion through the canaliculi

How is bone tissue nourished?

Nutrition is provided by the so-called Nourishing Foramina, which are openings in the bone through which blood vessels, veins and arteries pass. Also with regard to nutrition, Volkmann's canals provide the main entry route for vessels to cross compact bone.

With this information, we can conclude that Volkmann canals also contain nutritional vessels arising from the periosteal and endosteal bone surface.
