The Double V campaign that signified the quest for victory home and abroad was one of such movements aimed at demanding the restoration of the rights of black men. This period also resulted in the migration of a lot African-Americans from the Southern part of the United States to the Northern part that was more accommodating.

Summarily, World War1had a positive influence on these group of people because  they became more ambitious and demanding of their rights in the society.
