Being cozy often boosts serotonin (the happy chemical) into your brain. If you are happy and thinking of how comfortable you are, it may take a load off your shoulders by keeping you from thinking about the negativity that may be happening. It may also give you the confidence to fight and find a solution to problems you are facing.
