The correct expression is:

\frac{9 m^{-6} n^{2} p^{-1} }{ 12mn^{-5} p}  \\  \\
 \frac{3 m^{-6} n^{2} p^{-1} }{ 4mn^{-5} p}

The negative exponents can be moved to the other side of the fraction to make them positive, as shown below:

\frac{3n^{2}( n^{5}) }{ 4mp(m^{6}p^{1})}  \\  \\
= \frac{3 n^{7} }{4 m^{7}p^{2}  }

The above expression now contains all the positive exponents and is our answer.

sergij07 [2.7K]

Answer:

The y-value of P' is -10.

Step-by-step explanation:

It was given that; triangle PQR has vertices P(–2, 6), Q(–8, 4), and R(1, –2).

The translation rule is

(x,y)\to (x-2,y-16)

To find the image of P, which is P', we have to substitute the coordinates of P(-2,6) to obtain;

P(-2,6)\to P'(-2-2,6-16)

P(-2,6)\to P'(-4,-10)

Hence the y-value of P' is -10.
