Tracheostomy is a surgical procedure performed by making a hole in the airway or trachea to insert a tube that can help patients who have difficulty breathing and experience a significant decrease in oxygen levels or respiratory system failure.
Opening of the throat

3) Never recannulate the tube except in an emergency
