The story is about Zaroff and his friend Rainsford who are game hunters.

Rainsford does not care about his prey. He believes its all about hunting, killing, and skins - a game. When Rainsford accepted to have an experience of Zaroff's game, he lost his personality and started behaving like Zaroff majorly at thinking. This made him a terrible killer who latter killed Zaroff in the end.
