Character vs. Character

Character vs. Character are when two characters or groups of people are on opposing sides battling it out. In this example, Mr. Hyde is going against other people. It is not character vs. society because Mr. Hyde is specifically going against people and not necessarily fighting societal rules. Character vs. society would be you choosing not to wear clothes out of your house. You're not going up against a particular person or group, you're just breaking the rules about being naked in public.

Character vs. self is an internal struggle where the character needs to make a tough decision. Character vs. nature is often a survival story where the character needs to stay alive during a blizzard or in the desert type situation.
