It all depends on the circumstances and who is commanding you to do it. For example, if you are with your parents, you will listen to what they say and do it out of politeness and also because it is a routine, such as cleaning the dishes, but not to the point of obeying something that you know will hurt you because sometimes it feels as if someone is threatening you, as if they are going to kill you or hurt you in some way, and if he or she tells you to do something, you will do it out of fear for your life.
