Answer:

He does not tell us.

Explanation:

"The Lady, or the Tiger?" is a short story written by Frank R. Stockton. The story is about a young man who is held guilty. For his public trial, the young man was made to stand before two sound-proof doors. In one, is the girl whom king has chosen for him, for if the young man chooses the door behind which this girl is, he will marry her. The second one contained the tiger behind it. If the young man chooses this one, he will be devoured by the tiger and hence held guilty.

At the end of the story when the young man opens the door, the author left without telling which door did this young man chose saying that he he leaves to us to think of who came out of that door: the girl or the tiger.

So, the answer is 'the author does not tell us' about who came out of the door'.

Without the things that are necessary or desirable for life.
fgiga [73]

Answer:

Explanation:

So, if we can define each word it will make it easier. Desolate refers to being in a state of emptiness. Rigorous refers to or could be being accurate (cross that one out). Omen is a good or bad event. Devoid is lacking something (lacking emotion or lacking a voice). So my answer is desolate because it involves nothing, or just being empty (not necessary).
