Lines are parallel if their slopes are the same. Write each equation in the form y = mx + c. If m is the same the two lines are parallel. So write the equations using y=mx+b y=2/3x-17 is already in that form 4x-6y=-6 is not. To get that equation in the formula, subtract 4x from both sides so the -6y=-4x-6. Next divide by -6 so that y= -4/-6x+1
hopethis gives alot of information :)

Find the slpes

if they are, then they are paralell

y=mx+b
m=slope
y=2/3x-17
slope=2/3

the other slope
in form ax+by=c
slope=-a/b
4x-6y=-6
-4/-6=2/3

2/3=2/3
the lines aer paralell

Answer: 4 weeks (1 month)

Step-by-step explanation: If it took 14 hours for something half the size of the striped scarf then you will just double the time. 1 hour a day will be 28 days which is 4 weeks and almost a month.

Name a pair of vertical angles, a straight angle, and two acute angles
other than
malfutka [58]

Step-by-step explanation:

While there are no examples available, there is the room to understand each angle type you listed, vertical angles are angles that are opposite from each other, and they are congruent (they have the same angle in degrees) now, imagine that for vertical angles, they are in an X top and bottom are equal, and the two sides are equal. For a straight angle, that is usually two angles that are right angles (90 degrees) back to back, meaning when you add 90 and 90 degrees together, you get a straight line or a 180 degree angle. An example of an acute angle is any angle less than 90 degrees, that is a real number, so imagine 25, 40, and 60 as all acute angles.

Hope this helps you identify them in your problem!
