For this case, what you should do is use any computational tool and graph the data in the table. For example, I used excel.
In the x axis we have Starting temperature and in the axis of the y we have Ending temperature.
You can see how the diagram varies almost linearly.

Answer:

Hello!  So, although this might be a little late I wanted to make sure everyone understood this problem and how it looks.  The last answer wasn't for the right graph. So, it was placed correctly just not all the points added up.. If that makes since.  Just for that, I found a graph perfectly for your equation; and this is what I got.

Just as a reminder, this was generally an easy problem.  You just have to match the Starting Temperature with the Ending such as, the Starting Temperature is at 130 F*..  If you find where it says Starting Temperature on the graph, you can match it with whats on the board.  All in all, 130 F* would match with 20 F* and so on. I hope this was a good enough explanation.  If you look at what graph I made, you can see how it matches with the board.

Thanks!

Maurinko [17]

Answer:

They arrive at the same time.

Step-by-step explanation:

If Alison spends 3 seconds to cover the last 1/4, it means that in 12 seconds will cover the four quarters because the acceleration is constant.

On the other hand Kevin spends 4 seconds to cover the last 1/3 of the distance, it  means that in 12 seconds will cover three thrds.

Finally we can conclude that both of them spend the same time to cover the drag race.

Help pls!!!how to solve it
Mariana [72]

Answer:

q = 5/6

Step-by-step explanation:

First, we distribute.

16q - 10 = 4q

Then, we combine like terms.

-10 = 4q - 16q

-10 = -12q

Finally, we divide -12 on both sides.

5/6 = q, or q = 5/6

Hope this helps ^^
