<u>Answer-</u>

<em>D. The function has one real zero and two nonreal zeros. The graph of the function intersects the x-axis at exactly one location.</em>

<u>Solution-</u>

The given polynomial is,

f(x)=x^3-x^2+6x-6

The zeros of the polynomials are,

\Rightarrow f(x)=0

\Rightarrow x^3-x^2+6x-6=0

\Rightarrow x^2(x-1)+6(x-1)=0

\Rightarrow (x^2+6)(x-1)=0

\Rightarrow (x^2+6)=0,(x-1)=0

\Rightarrow x=\sqrt{-6},\ x=1

\Rightarrow x=1,\ \pm \sqrt6i

Therefore, this function has only one real zero i.e 1 and two nonreal zeros i.e ±√6i . The graph of the function intersects the x-axis at exactly one location i.e at x = 1

Answer:

x = 960

Step-by-step explanation:

x=√{576×(576+1024)}

or, x = √(576×1600)

or, x = √576×√1600

or, x = 24×40

or, x = 960

Kevin drove for 4 hours and then stopped to eat dinner. The total distance he had driven at different time intervals is shown on
natta225 [31]

Answer:

If you want a simple average, you can add all the speeds you see and divide them by the number of how many they are.

So firstly you have to calculate the speed of the first point, which is:

20 miles/0.5 hour

That means: 40 miles/hour

That would be your first "speed"

Then you calculate all of them :speed1+speed2+speed3 = something.

As an example: 20miles/hr + 40miles/hr+0miles/hr = 60miles/hr

Then, you divide it by how many "speeds" they are: 60miles/hr divided by 3 if I continue my previous example.

It is my first answer, and I hope I could help you a bit!

Sorry for the awkward English, as it is not my mother tongue.

The graph shows the relationship between the number of hours that Michelle has been driving and the distance that she has left t
cricket20 [7]

Answer:

For each hour that Michelle drove, she traveled an additional 50 miles.

Step-by-step explanation:

The point (0, 350) tells you Michelle's trip is 350 miles long. The point (7, 0) tells you she completed it in 7 hours. The point (6, 50) on the graph tells you she has 50 miles remaining of the original 350 after 6 hours.

True: for each hour Michelle drove, she traveled an additional 50 miles.
