4.  When reading the stem and leaf plot the only values that fall between the range of  40 < x <60  is the 4 values of 45.  They are located at the tail end of the 4 stem after the zeros. The 40s and 60s are not counted because it is not mentioned equal to 40 or 60.

The equation of the line in this graph is<br>y= ____ x+____ .<br>
Alexxx [7]
The equation of the line in this graph is y = 3/2x + 3.

Explanation:

In slope intercept form equations, the initial value is where everything begins. In this equation, that would be at the point (0,3). From there, because it is going up toward the right side, there is a positive slope. The formula for slope is rise over run, so to get our slope, we have to go up 3 units and over 2 units.

Which shows how to solve the equation Three-fourths x = negative 6 for x in one step?
My name is Ann [436]

option A i.e. Three-fourths (four-thirds) x = negative 6 (four-thirds).

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

We have , The given expression as Three-fourths x = negative 6  , which can be written as \frac{3}{4} (x) = -6 . Now in order to solve this equation in one step , we must notice that coefficient of x must be 1 but it's  \frac{3}{4} , Let's make coefficient of x  as 1 by multiplying both side of equations by 4/3:

\frac{3}{4} (x) = -6

⇒ \frac{3}{4} (x) = -6

⇒ \frac{3}{4}(\frac{4}{3} ) (x) = -6(\frac{4}{3} )

⇒ x = -6(\frac{4}{3} )

⇒ x = -2(4)

⇒ x = -8

Therefore, x= -8 & correct option to solve the equation Three-fourths x = negative 6 for x in one step is <u>option A i.e. Three-fourths (four-thirds) x = negative 6 (four-thirds).</u>
