Louis Kahn (1901-1974) is considered one of the most important American architects of the twentieth century. He became known for his use of natural light, engineering and geometric structures, as well as innovative construction techniques.
Some examples of his work are the Salk Institute in La Jolla, California, the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth, Texas, and the National Assembly Building in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
