After the world war II, the British did not enough financial strength to took care of the problems in india anymore, beside that there are a lot of violent revolution toward the colonist that happen after the war

Britain began considering India's desire for independence because they were struggling in controlling the colony or country. Added to the problem was it Europe was experiencing financial issues during the World War II. There was also a tension between Muslims and Hindus and Britain wanted to get out of it before it gets worst.
