Actually, satire is an artistic genre. It can be found in literature, painting, caricature, performing arts, cinema, etc. Satire uses irony or sarcasm in order to shame and ridicule the vices, absurdities, insanities or flaws of a person, a system, a religion or a political ideology.
Compound sentences have two independent sentences linked by words ( connectors) or punctuation marks. The parentheses mark each independent sentence and the bold-typed style marks the connector.
