The charge on an ion is determined by the protons and electrons. Neutrons have nothing to do with it.

Rule 1: If there are more electrons than protons, the charge is minus. Make sure you know what what more than means and what charge electrons have.

Rule 2: if there are more protons than electrons, the charge is plus.

There are 42 protons and 43 electrons. The charge is 1 minus.

“The time travelers guide to Elizabethan England”. Which details gives implicit information about the modern views of the Elizab
grigory [225]
A wide flat field is "finer” than rugged terrain for it can be tilled easily to produce wheat and so represents good white bread. A small thatched cottage, which a modern viewer might consider pretty, will be considered unattractive by an Elizabethan traveler, for cottagers are generally poor

In Sonnet 18, the speaker says that his beloved will live eternally because
aksik [14]

After reading and analyzing what the speaker of Shakespeare's "Sonnet 18" says, we can answer in the following manner:

The speaker says his beloved will live eternally because:

A. The beloved will be remembered as long as people can read this poem.

The speaker thinks a comparison of his beloved to a summer's day is:

B. not complimentary enough.

<h3>What the speaker says in "Sonnet 18"</h3>

In "Sonnet 18", the speaker is complimenting the person he loves. He thinks that comparing her to a summer day will not be good enough, since she has more and better qualities:

"Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?

Thou art more lovely and more temperate..."

The speaker also says, towards the end of the poem, that the person he loves will never die for she will be immortalized in the poem. As long as people read the poem, she will exist:

"So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,

So long lives this, and this gives life to thee."

With the information above in mind, we can choose options A and B respectively as the best choices.
