When Hamlet says “A little more than kin and less than kind.” What is being said?
frez [133]

Answer:

 • ‘Hamlet’ is one of the play by William Shakespeare. The play is about the prince Hamlet and his revenge against Claudius who’s Hamlet’s uncle.
 • In the play, Hamlet addresses his uncle as ‘A little more than kin and less than kind.’ When Hamlet says ‘A little more than kin’ he means that his uncle Claudius is now not just his uncle, but his step father as well simply because he married Hamlet’s mother.
 • ‘Less than kind’ means that although Claudius is now Hamlet’s stepfather, he is less than kind because of the fact that he briskly married his mother and it was because of Claudius that Hamlet’s father died.
