So that it looks like this: (im new at this still cant do fractions! sorry :) )

(14+10)÷2

14 plus 10, divided by two. Following PEMDAS, if you didn't put the parenthesis between 14 and 10, you would have to divide 10/2*14, so the expression should be (14+10)÷2.
