An indentured servant, unlike a slave, is someone who owes their owner money and is working to repay their debt, an indentured servant is paid unlike slaves and therefore are not slave, even though the conditions for both slaves and indentured servants are poor, most indentured servants were white as Africans would be sold off into slave labor. Being an Indentured servant means you work until you pay off your debt, and than your "employer" will sometimes give you a plot of land and a farm as payment along with your relieved debts

  • Elizabeth spent an a lot of effort in understanding the accuracy of memories and how the brain can create false memories by repression and manipulation.
  • In one of her ground breaking study, Elizabeth found that only 18 percent of her participants voted to convict the suspect when they were presented with circumstantial evidence and no eyewitnesses to a robbery-murder case.
  • However, seventy-two percent of participants voted to convict the the same suspect when they were presented with circumstantial evidence and one eyewitness.
