Hey! Remember, a personal narrative essay is about YOU! You can write about anything that happened to you in your life, things like first kisses, first dates, or even about the first time you went to the zoo! It could literally be about anything, just make sure that YOU are in it!

So, a personal narrative essay always has to have a beginning, middle, and end, just like any other essay. But, unlike other essays, you have to write in first person. Basically, writing in first person is when include "I" in the beginning of your sentences. Also, don't forget to include a plot! Every good personal narrative HAS to have a plot.

And, last but not least, you need to include a conclusion! How is your story ending? How did this event (or whatever you are writing about) affect you, and how did it end? Don't forget, this isn't all what you need in a personal narrative, but these are the things that'll help you get started.

~Hope I helped, and best of luck on your essay!~

Read the passage from The Time Traveler's Guide to Elizabethan England. Perhaps the most difficult thing to come to terms with i
zheka24 [161]

Answer:

The evidence in the passage is strong because it d. is relevant to the topic.

Explanation:

The topic of this passage is the mortality of influenza virus back in Elizabethan England. The writer's purpose is to show readers that the flu was much scarier and deadlier back at that time than it is today. To prove that, the writer uses numbers - 7.2 percent, 2.5 percent, 150,000, 5 percent, 0.53 percent - as evidence. Readers can compare death rates and clearly conclude that Elizabethan flu was more violent than the flu we commonly see or have nowadays. Therefore, the evidence in this passage is relevant to the topic, helping the writer prove it right.
