How did indentured servitude and the slave trade both create and solve problems for the colonies?

History

Answer:

Indentured servants first arrived in America in the decade following the settlement of Jamestown by the Virginia Company in 1607.

The idea of indentured servitude was born of a need for cheap labor. The earliest settlers soon realized that they had lots of land to care for, but no one to care for it. With passage to the Colonies expensive for all but the wealthy, the Virginia Company developed the system of indentured servitude to attract workers. Indentured servants became vital to the colonial economy.

Write facts about the Black Death pandemic in the spaces provided. Help me please
Sonbull [250]

Answer:

The Black Death was a bubonic plague pandemic occurring in Afro-Eurasia from 1346-53. It is the most fatal pandemic recorded in human history, resulting in the deaths of up to 75–200 million people in Eurasia and North Africa, peaking in Europe from 1347 to 1351. Wikipedia

Deaths: 75,000,000 – 200,000,000 (estimate)

Disease: Bubonic plague

Start date: 1346

Location: Eurasia, parts of Africa

End date: 1353

The Black Death was one of the most feared diseases in the 14th century. It was a type of plague that was spread via the bite of infected rat fleas. The name Black Death came from the swollen buboes (glands) in the victim's neck, armpits, and inner thigh that turned black as they filled with blood.

How did it end? The most popular theory of how the plague ended is through the implementation of quarantines. The uninfected would typically remain in their homes and only leave when it was necessary, while those who could afford to do so would leave the more densely populated areas and live in greater isolation.

Which phrase indicates that the colonists are protesting their lack of representation?
bearhunter [10]
"Governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed."
They are saying here that governments should get their power from the people they are governing, rather than making decisions all on their own. The colonists were not being able to have any say in the British government and they felt like representation was a very important right of a citizen.
Hope this helps! Please let me know if I'm wrong. :)
