In which two ways do extras function in a drama?

English

The answers are C and D: They are minor players who don’t speak many lines. They are generally referred to by their occupation; a servant is simply called servant.

An extra on a play can be used for several purposes, but in general they are part of the setting and the scene and they allow the main characters to be developed in a properly contextual manner. Extras usually don´t have many lines, and the few lines they do speak tend to work more as cues than content. Finally, servants are so immaterial that they are usually not named, but rather they are referred to by their occupation or generic trait (servant, maid, boy, girl, etc.).

Which of the following is a between the lines question? a. Who wrote this poem? c. Why write about a house? b. What is this poem
balu736 [363]

Answer:

c. Why write about a house?

Explanation:

A question can be defined as a statement that begs or requires an answer, response or reply from a respondent.

Generally, there are three (3) main types of question and these includes;

I. Rhetorical question: this is a question that expresses a person's opinion but do not require an answer, reply or response.

II. Open-ended question: this type of question requires the respondent to give a detailed explanation rather than just a yes or no response.

III. Between the lines: it involves discovering an answer that is implied but not stated explicitly. Thus, the answer to this type of question is hidden in the piece of information provided.

Hence, an example of a between the lines question is; "Why write about a house?" since the respondent would have to get the answer through deductive reasoning or drawing an inference from the information provided.

What factors contributed to novartis’s invoice processing being so complex?.
bearhunter [10]

The factor that contributed to this complexity was the difference between languages and currencies among Novartis participants.

What is Novartis?

 • It is a health care company.
 • It is a company that provides global service.

As an international company, Novartis must deal with a very large number of different languages and currencies. This makes invoice processing very complex as it must be provided according to the currency and language of its members, maintaining unity and harmony.

The difference in currencies is the main reason for the complexity of the invoices, it is already necessary that currency conversion is done constantly.
