The creature spent the entire winter watching and noticing the cottagers nest to him. The creature was taken by the beauty and nobility of their faces.
The cottagers were an old man, a young man and a young women. Despite not understanding their language or their music, the creature admired them.
The creature was determined to learn their language. It was able to acquire the basics by linking the spoken words with the actions that the cottagers did.
Watching them the entire winter, the creature passionately loved each one of the cottagers.
It could notice that the family was not happy, even though it could not figure out the reason. For the creature, the family had all the reasons to be happy. They possessed a roof, food and companionship.
Eventually, the creature understood that the reason behind their sadness was their poverty which was partially caused by the creature (which used to steal their food).
The creature was torn by his guilty conscience and stopped stealing their food. It even spend the night in gathering wood and leaving the wood at the cottager's door in order to help decrease their hardship.

How would dna extracted from an onion be different from dna extraction from cauliflower?
JulsSmile [24]
Dna extration from a onion and from a cauliflower would be different because even though all DNA is composed by the same nucleotides (A, T, C and G), the sequence of their genes will be different. That difference is why a cauliflower doesn't look like a onion. The cauliflower has genes that, when expressed, make the organism look like cauliflower and nothing else..

HELP!!

What are the steps from gene to protein? Label and describe each step.
Alika [10]

DNA makes up genes. Transcription: The info stored in the gene's DNA is transcribed to RNA in the cell nucleus. The type of RNA that contains the info for making a protein is called messenger RNA, also known as mRNA. It carries out the information from the DNA, out of the nucleus, and into the cytoplasm. Translation: This happens in the cytoplasm. It is where the mRNA interacts with the ribosome, which "reads" the sequence of mRNA bases. Three bases make a codon, which usually codes for one particular amino acid, which is building blocks of proteins. Then, another type of RNA called transfer RNA, aka tRNA, assembles the protein by folding. This continues until the ribosome reaches a stop codon.
