Answer:

because he didnt have any variables, he only interviewed 500 people from one movie theater, if he did different theaters, the answer would be different, and what if he just picked a bunch of people who liked it instead of getting a good mix?

Answer:

The scientist conclusion is most likely unreliable because his sample collection is bias and skewed

Explanation:

The scientist will likely get an unreliable conclusion because of the location he chose to do his interview. He chose to do his interview in a theater, which simply means there is a higher probability that the interviewees prefer watching movies in a theater than at home.

The scientist should have done the interview on a neutral ground or location to get a better and unbiased opinion from individuals. Imagine him carrying out the interview in a bus, on the streets and homes. He is likely to meet more people that are not theater fans.

If he wants to get an unbiased sample he should have chose 250 individuals leaving the theater and another 250 individual watching movies in their homes .

horrorfan [7]

Answer:

The auto thermostat setting helps keep your home at a comfortable temperature no matter what the temperature does outside.  First, it’ll switch your system from heating to cooling on its own.  You only pick two set points.  One that is the warmest you want your home to be, and one the coolest you want your home to be.

GaryK [48]

Answer:

Ethos.

Explanation:

An author employs a variety of persuasive techniques to convince the readers to believe in his claims. Aristotle proposed the three major persuasive appeals: ethos(ethical appeal), pathos(emotional appeal), and logos(logical appeal) that authors employ to persuade the audience.

Ethos is demonstrated as the appeal that convinces the audience by appealing to their ethics by establishing the credibility of his claim.

In the given example, '<u>ethos</u>' is the rhetorical appeal employed by the author as he uses 'the findings of a credible scientific researcher' that would assist him to establish the reliability and ethical character of his claim and appeal to the ethics of the audience to persuade them to accept and believe in his argument and elicit desired response from them.
