How do you use the keyboard on the computer to write exponents and other algebraic symbols

You will have to type it into Microsoft word first, type a number or algebraic expression into a Word document. Press the "Ctrl," "Shift" and "=" keys on your keyboard to turn on the Superscript mode. Enter another number or expression signifying the exponent.
