20 POINTS!In this unit, you worked with geometric proofs. A proof is a logical sequence of justified conclusions that lead from

a hypothesis to a final conclusion. In your opinion, why are mathematical proofs important? Suppose that a conclusion within a proof isn’t justified or is inaccurate. In geometry, what might be the consequences of the inaccuracy? Now think about different kinds of proofs that take place outside the world of geometry, and list a few examples. What might be the consequences of having an unjustified conclusion surface in such proofs? Who might be affected and how?

Not only in mathematics, scientific proof also are required in the other field of science. Also maths proofs are of particular structure, containing steps and logics. So proving is like doing science, it is science. That's why it is important to prove.
An inaccurate proof leads to errors, or stating results that are not accurate.
Example 1:
If the derivative of a function is negative, then the function is decreasing.
Example 2:
The sum of the measures of the angles of any triangle is 180°.
Example 2:
Given a triangle whose vertices are on a circle and one side is the
diameter of the triangle, then the triangle is right angled.

Answer: Not only in mathematics, scientific proof also are required in the other field of science.

Of the following three statements, choose the best option and write a viable argument showing how it is reflected by the cost fu
Elina [12.6K]

A viable argument showing how it is reflected by the Cost Function for Wichita’s factory is; The cost of production per unit of item produced is 1$ as long as total units produced is less than 2500. If more than 2500 units are produced than the cost per unit actually comes down to 0.8$per unit.

<h3>How to Interpret Cost Functions?</h3>

From the given options, the best statement is;

The plant’s production processes are performed primarily by robots that are able to work longer hours, when needed, at no additional cost.

A cost function is a formula used to predict the cost that will be experienced at a certain activity level. Thus, the cost function for the best option is;

The cost of production per unit of item produced is 1$ as long as total units produced is less than 2500. If more than 2500 units are produced than the cost per unit actually comes down to 0.8$per unit.

The missing options are;

___ The electricity contract with the utility company is structured so that higher daily energy usage is charged at a lower rate.

___ The plant’s production processes are performed primarily by robots that are able to work longer hours, when needed, at no additional cost.

___ Overtime wages were required to produce at levels above 25,000 units.

How would I solve number six?
Basile [38]

Answer:

Angle ABC is equal to 130.4°

Step-by-step explanation:

When an angle is bisected, it is divided into two equal parts, so if BD bisects ∠ABC, then the two angles that add up to it, ∠ABD and  ∠DBC, must be equivalent.

We know that ∠ABD equals 65.2, so that must mean that ∠DBC also equals 65.2.

Here is our equation:

∠ABC=∠ABD+∠DBC

After substituting, we will get

∠ABC=65.2+65.2=130.4

130.4° is the measure of ∠ABC.
