Answer:  5

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : In the the given kite , we have

TU= 15x-23  and  UV = 3x+37

A kite has two pairs of consecutive sides that are equal in length.

In the given figure , we have TU and UV are adjacent shorter sides in the kite , which must be equal.

Then , we have the following equation :-

15x-23=3x+37\\\\\Rightarrow\ 15x-3x=37+23\\\\\Rightarrow\ 12x=60\\\\\Rightarrow\ x=\dfrac{60}{12}=5

Hence, the value of  x= 5

Find the value of a?
Inga [223]
Answer:
a=9

Explanation:
The triangle is a 45-45-90 triangle, so the sides have a 1-1-root 2 ratio. So, if 9 root 2 is to root 2, then find a to 1. You can solve this by setting up the ratio and solving for a:
a/1=9root2/root2
a/1=9
a=9
