Answer:

Area of polygon = 16.11  square cm

Step-by-step explanation:

From the figure we can divide the polygon into two quadrilateral,

1) a square with side 3.6 cm

2)  a rectangle with dimensions 2.1 x 1.5

<u>To find the area of square</u>

Area = side x side = 3.6 x 3.6

= 12 .96 square cm

<u>To find the area of rectangle</u>

Area = Length x Breadth

= 2.1 x 1.5 = 3.15 square cm

<u>Area of polygon</u>

Area  = 12.96 + 3.15 = 16.11  square cm

Certain tubes manufactured by a company have a mean lifetime of 800 hours and a standard deviation of 60 hours. Find the probabi
Anna71 [15]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

given that certain tubes manufactured by a company have a mean lifetime of 800 hours and a standard deviation of 60 hours.

Sample size n =16

Std error of sample mean = \frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n} } \\= 15

x bar follows N(800, 15)

the probability that a random sample of 16 tubes taken from the group will have a mean lifetime

(a) between 790 and 810 hours,

=P(790

(b) less than 785 hours

=P(X

, (c) more than 820 hours,

=P(X>820)\\=p(Z>1.333)\\= 0.0913

(d) between 770 and 830 hours

=P(|Z|

AnnZ [28]

This is my first time so don't get mad if i am wrong.

We know there are <u>2</u> quarters in the envelope and dimes, nickles, and pennies. and gives us an unknown number ?/? now we need to find those numbers. lets say d=dimes, n=nickles, and p=pennies. number example: d-1,  n-3, p-2 next add these numbers which is 5+2=7.
