To answer this, you need to make a systems of equations.

25x + 35y = 1450
x + y = 50 ----> y = 50 - x

25x + 35(50-x) = 1450
25x + 1750 - 35x = 1450
25x - 35x + 1750 = 1450
-10x + 1750 = 1450
- 1750 -1750

-10x = -300
x = 30

He played tennis for 30min

Gill rolls a number cube 78 times. How many times can he expect to roll an odd number greater than 1?
bekas [8.4K]
Im assuming its just a regular number cube with 6 numbers
there are only 2 odd numbers above 1 ( 3 and 5)

so the ratio is 2/6

you want to know how manny times (x) will you roll those numbers out of 78 roll
the ratio is x/78

multiply

(2/6) = (x/78)

cross multply to give you 6x= 156 and divide by 6

<span>to give you x = 26

Select the equation of a line that is perpendicular to the line on the graph and passes through the point (3, 2). (1 point) y =
GrogVix [38]

Answer:

  y = - 1/3 x + 3

Step-by-step explanation:

You don't even need to know anything about perpendicular lines to properly answer this question. (That is why the missing graph is irrelevant.) Only one of the offered answer choices goes through the point (3, 2):

  y = -1/3x +3

  y = -1/3(3) +3 = 2 . . . . . (x, y) = (3, 2) is on this line
