Well, simply young soul, you have to add up everything you have so far and subtract that by 100% because we know 100%= 100/100 just like 65%= 65/100, 18%= 18/100 and 10%= 10/100.
    65
    18               If all that added together is 93 we can put this over 100 just like
  +10               all the other ones.  93/100= 93%
---------            Now take the whole number (100) and subtract
   93               100-93= 7 which is 7%
                      7% of the human body is made up of other elements. Hopes this
                      helps!! :D

Answer:

1.5 or 3/2

Step-by-step explanation:

V = l x w x h

4 1/3 = 3/4 x 4 x L

3/4x4 = 3

3L = 4 1/2

Divide by 3

The price of a buffet lunch is $14.80 per adult and $12 per children. William paid a total of $95.2 for a group of m adults and
lianna [129]

Answer:

$14.80(m) + $12(n) = $95.2

Solved:

$14.80(4) + $12(3) = $95.2

Step-by-step explanation:

m represents Adults ($14.80m) | n represents Children ($12n)

4 Adults times $14.80 equals $59.2

3 Children times $12 equals $36

Add $36 and $59.2 and you get $95.2

3. Sam and Tim each have savings accounts. Every month they each put in some of their
Setler [38]

Answer:

y = 30x +50 --- Sam

y = 20x +80 --- Tim

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Sam                         Tim

х  --- f(x) ---------------  g(x)

1  --- 80   --------------- 100

2  --- 110  --------------- 120

3  --- 140 --------------- 140

4 --- 170 -------------- 160

Required

Determine the y value

y value implies the equation of the table

Calculating the equation of Sam

First, we need to take any corresponding values of x and y

(x_1,y_1) = (1,80)

(x_2,y_2) = (4,170)

Next, we calculate the slope (m)

m = \frac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1}

m = \frac{170 - 80}{4 - 1}

m = \frac{90}{3}

m = 30

Next, we calculate the line equation using:

y - y_1=m(x-x_1)

y - 80 = 30(x - 1)

y - 80 = 30x - 30

Make y the subject

y = 30x - 30 + 80

y = 30x +50

Calculating the equation of Tim

First, we need to take any corresponding values of x and y

(x_1,y_1) = (1,100)

(x_2,y_2) = (4,160)

Next, we calculate the slope (m)

m = \frac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1}

m = \frac{160 - 100}{4 - 1}

m = \frac{60}{3}

m = 20

Next, we calculate the line equation using:

y - y_1=m(x-x_1)

y - 100 = 20(x - 1)

y - 100 = 20x - 20

Make y the subject

y = 20x - 20+100

y = 20x +80
