How to divide 457 by 4 in long division
UkoKoshka [18]
114.25

You need to to put 457 inside "the box" and put 4 on the outside. You go to each number to see if 4 goes into it. For example 4 goes into 4 1 time. When you get to the decimals you put a decimal after the number ends and add a 0 until you find the answer.

Read the excerpt from "Object Lesson 1". Louise Carpenter stood tensely straight at her desk, her pretty face almost as white as
Gennadij [26K]

Answer:

The author's word choice help to express the tone of the excerpt since The negative connotations of the words "tensely," "clutching," and "sizzled" give the excerpt a tone of nervousness.

Explanation:

The use of the words "tensely," "clutching," and "sizzled" are indeed giving a more powerful meaning to the general idea of this excerpt, if this moment had been written without using any of this strong words, the level of tension on Louise Carpenter could not have been almost tangible to the reader as they create expectation and an increment of stress.

Gnesinka [82]

I mean, I might not be able to display what you learned, but I'll list some of the things the community has learned throughout the past year.

-Be cautious, and wash your hands. Some viruses are deadly.

-We should never take things for granted. People don't usually sanitize and, they take the environment for granted, not knowing the consequences.

-Despite the difficulty of online learning, you are not alone because everyone is online too.

-Staying sanitized keeps you away from sickness.

Paragraph:

Despite suffering and trauma, the year 2020 has also taught many things to all of us. Several lessons that I learned from the virus and the community. The first thing I have learned was to be cautious and sanitary because we never know when it all might come to a disaster. People's lives might end because they weren't sanitary. Despite the difficulty, we are all in this together. Everyone is struggling with online learning, too. And finally, staying sanitized keeps you away from sickness. Ever since others were aware of germs, I don't think we have gotten sick or caught a cold this year.
