Answer:

Downbursts, tornadoes cause different damage. ... While damage from both the downburst and tornado was caused by strong winds, the two types of storms are very different. A downburst is a strong downdraft that causes damaging winds on or near the ground. The difference between a funnel cloud and a tornado is that a funnel cloud is condensed water droplets, associated with a rotating column of wind and extending from the base of a cloud and a tornado is a harmful cloud Wich can destroy city's.

Answer:

1. EF-2

2. hurricane/tropical cyclone

3. recurrent weather

4. The two types of downbursts are macrobursts and microbursts. A macroburst affects an area that's greater than 2.5 miles across. A microburst affects an area that's less than 2.5 miles across.

5. A funnel cloud forms as a spinning column of air that descends from a thundercloud. However, a funnel cloud doesn't become a tornado until it actually touches the ground. Once it touches the ground, where it begins to pick up dust and debris, it becomes a tornado.

6. Tropical cyclones, such as hurricanes, are fueled by warm ocean waters. Once they make landfall, they lose this fuel source and begin to lose strength.

7. The heat index and the wind chill index are similar because both consider other factors that affect how air temperature feels. The heat index considers relative humidity in relation to air temperature. Higher humidity makes air temperatures feel hotter. The wind chill index considers wind speed in relation to air temperature. Higher wind speeds make air temperatures feel colder.

8. Heat waves—Heat waves can be very dangerous when accompanied by high humidity. The human body depends on evaporation of sweat to cool itself down on hot days. When humidity levels are high, the rate of evaporation slows down. Consequently, it becomes harder for the body to cool itself and much easier for the body to overheat.

Besides the theory of gravity, he developed the laws of motion. He also discovered calculus which helped in the mathematic world. (I know that the calculus thing is not really part of the science. I just wanted to add to that just in case.)

A cone has a diameter of 6 centimeters and a height that is 5 times the diameter. Using 3.14 for pi, which of the following can
MariettaO [177]
The volume of the cone is calculated by the formula:

V = B*H/3
r=D/2 = 6/3 = 2
where B is surface area of basis and H is height.

B is circle which fomula for surface is:
B = r^2 * pi = 3^2*3,14 = 9*3,14 = 28.26

from condition of height we write:
H = 3*D = 3*6 = 18

now volume is:

If we express all of that in equation of volume we get:

V = 1/3* 3^2*3,14*18
