The signs of the numbers in the problem matter because if a number is negative in the equation than you're answer could be negative. ex. -3/9= -3 but if the negative sign wasn't there than the answer would be wrong bc the answer would be positive.

Next, we multiply 2 hours, by 1 foot, and convert the 1 foot, to 4 feet. Which means to figure out the number of hours, we have to times 2 hours by 4 feet. And that is 8.
So the answer is: 8 feet.
