Answer:

The two people who placed first and third in the 200-meter dash at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City and who were later banished from the games were Tommie Smith and John Carlos.

Explanation:

At the Olympic Games in Mexico 1968, after winning the 200-meter race at the Olympic Games, African-American athletes Tommie Smith and John Carlos, gold and bronze medalists, raised their fists wrapped in a black glove as the American national anthem began to sound, performing the salute of black power. For this action they were sanctioned by the International Olympic Committee.

How are the Rome and Inca empires compare and contrast?
Akimi4 [234]
The Romans had historians. This meaning the Roman legacy went on in Europe for centuries, even long after the fall of the Roman Empire.  The Incas had no writing that I know of but maybe it just was not deciphered. They were conquered by the Spanish (because they had better weapons such as guns). This meant much of their history was lost when the Spanish conquered the area. Hope this helps and please give brainliest it would help me reach expert ;)
