Answer:

Whereas weather refers to short-term changes in the atmosphere, climate describes what the weather is like over a long period of time in a specific area. Different regions can have different climates. To describe the climate of a place, we might say what the temperatures are like during different seasons, how windy it usually is, or how much rain or snow typically falls.

How would marine researchers know where to look for hydro thermal vent sites? How could they be certain they have found a vent
monitta

Answer and Explanation:

A hydro-thermal vent can be defined as a crevice on the floor of the sea from which water heated by geothermal energy erupts or issues. These vents are common near places that are  volcanically active, areas where the movement of the tectonic plates is away from the spreading centers, hotspots, ocean basins, etc.

Marine researchers know the sites for hydro-thermal vents by computing the exact location of the place of active volcanic sites which provides the movement to the the tectonic plates which in turn produces gas and undergo some thermal processes making it easily detectable for the location of thermal vent sites.

They can be sure of finding a vent by calculating the activeness of active volcanic sites in the hydrological places.

babunello [35]
Convection currents form in atmosphere and freshwater lake. Convection currents occur when there is difference in temperature in both substances (eg. fluids). When there is a difference in temperature, the hot substance rises and the colder one sinks. The flow then will be form a hotter to the colder region.
