Answer:

The correct answer is B. During Sherman's March to the Sea, his troops destroyed anything they could between Atlanta and the Atlantic Coast.

Explanation:

Sherman's March to the Sea was the military campaign led by General William Tecumseh Sherman with his Union Army troops in the Civil War.

After Sherman's troops took Atlanta on September 2, 1864, they set out to advance through the Confederate territory to reach the Atlantic Ocean, defeating all the Confederate troops who might find and destroy industries, railroads, mills, canals, warehouses, farms, workshops, and practically every element that served to sustain the economy of the secessionist states.

Which choice could be a slogan for "Jacksonian Democracy"?
NikAS [45]

Answer:

Powerful president, common man!

Explanation:

During the 1830s, President Andrew Jackson led a movement to promote the rights of the common man and stand in opposition to the aristocratic form of government. This type of democracy focused more on building equal rights of the wealth of white males. The movement was more of a controversial as it only favored the male whites. Democracy was inclined towards the common man. Jacksonians fought for equal rights to vote for all the white men. They also wanted all the white men to expand and settle down.

Describe how each of the following terms relates to culture and society in the thirteen colonies. a. immigration b. epidemic c.
guapka [62]
A. Immigration was one of the biggest things because once everyone saw that this country was going to be good and they had a lot of natural resources, everyone wanted to come. Later on even the Chinese even wanted to come over to the US. B. Epidemic... well, I don't know if you mean epidemic the disease or epidemic as something that is everywhere in an area. Epidemic means that it is spread out across an area and it could be either a sickness or it could also be something like just everyone has. C. Apprentice is someone that is learning eventually. An apprentice could have been someone that was like helping someone else (sort of like indentured servants) and within the years they would leave and they would do their own thing. D. Civic Virtue could be something like the people expressing their voice. The pamphlet by Thomas Paine asking the people to please reconsider was a way to express their thoughts. Another example would be like voting.
