Answer: False

Step-by-step explanation:

As time goes by, the resale value of a computer tends to drop because it tends not to function as properly as it did before, and the quality of new computers on the market drives the price of older computers down. So you can expect that as the amount of time increases, the resale value will decrease, resulting in a negative correlation

I was walking to the store at the same time as my friend Angela. No matter what, She has always gotten there twice as fast as me
atroni [7]
Let's call your speed "a"

her walking speed is then "2a"

and her friend's scooter speed is 10 a

let's also call the distance you need to walk "d"

so the time (t)you need is:

d/t=a
t=d/a

and her time is:
 t=\frac{d}{2} /2a+ \frac{d}{2} /10a
(half a distance with the speed of 2a and half a distance (d/2) with the distance of 10 a

now we count (we know that her time is 30 minutes)

30= \frac{d}{4a}+\frac{d}{20a} //multiply by 20a

600a= 5d+d
600a=6d/divide by 6
100a=d

Now, in order to calculate your time we need to calculate:

t=d/a

but we know how much is d now!
t=\frac{100a}{a}=100

which means that you need 100 minutes, or 1 h 40 minutes!!!

Enter the y coordinate of the solution to this system of equations. <br> -2x+3y=-6<br> 5x-6y=15
julia-pushkina [17]
Y coordinate on solving both equations comes out to be 0
-2x+3y=-6
3y = -6+2x
put the value of 3y in equation 2nd
5x-2(-6+2x) =15
5x+12-4x = 15
x=3
put value of X in 3y = -6+2x
3y = -6+2*3 = -6+6 = 0
thus y = 0

1. If a function f(x) is shifted to the left one unit, what function represents the transformation?
Vaselesa [24]
<span><u><em>The correct answers are: </em></u>
1) A;
2) A;
4) D
3 cannot be done because the graph is not shown.

<u><em>Explanation:</em></u><span><u><em> </em></u>
1) Shifting a graph to the left, we would normally think of subtracting 1 from the function. However, horizontal translations are the opposite; left means adding 1 to x, while right means subtracting 1 from x.

2) A reflection in the x-axis means the y-coordinate will be negated (the opposite sign). This means that g(x)=-f(x)=-(x^2+5=-x^2-5.

4) To perform a vertical stretch of a function, we multiply by the factor; this gives us y=6x.</span></span>
