19 is $63 per ticket
I got this answer by dividing 252÷4 which equals 63 or the answer if you want to call it that.

18 is 53 beats per sec
I got the answer by dividing 159÷3 because you want to try to get the quotient. The reason for that is because the quotient is the times the ruby throated humming bird beats it wings per second. So the answer will be 53

2. Find the area of the regular polygon.
mash [69]

Answer:

P = 80

A = 480²

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve for the base we use the Pythagorean Theorem

13^2-12^2=25\\\sqrt{25} =5

then we multiply by 2 to get the side length

2x5=10

this is an 8 sided figure with congruent sides so to get the perimeter we multiply 8 and 10

8x10=80 so the perimeter is 80

To find the area of a regular polygon we multiply the apothem (12) and the perimeter (80) and divide by 2

12x80=960

960/2=480

the area is 480²

A 7ft board is to be cut into three pieces, two equal length ones and the third 6 inches shorter than each of the other two. If
Leokris [45]

Answer:

The two boards of equal length are 30 inches long, and the third board is 24 inches long

Step-by-step explanation:

First, convert the length of the board to inches. There are 12 inches in a foot, so multiply 7 by 12:

7(12)

= 84

Let x represent the length of the two boards of equal length. The length of the third board can be represented by x - 6, since it is 6 inches shorter than the other two.

Create an equation to represent this and solve for x:

(x) + (x) + (x - 6) = 84

3x - 6 = 84

3x = 90

x = 30

So, the two boards of equal length are 30 inches long.

Subtract 6 from this to find the length of the third board:

30 - 6

= 24

The two boards of equal length are 30 inches long, and the third board is 24 inches long.
