The act is called the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

This act, signed into law by Lyndon B. Johnson, helped to remove legal barriers that African-Americans faced when it came to voting. For example, African-Americans were unfair targets of things like literacy tests, poll taxes, and the grandfather clause. All three of these barriers were put in place to limit the amount of African-American citizens voting in local, state, and national elections.

This law ensured that African-Americans received the same protection guaranteed to them under the 15th amendment.

The reclamation of religious orders also tested expensive to the amend of Catholicism. Old rules were recovered and reformed by eradicating corrupt practices. New rules were constructed as well. Jesuits were among the new orders. They settled schools that have a lot of humanist educational methods, converted many non-believers to the faith and fought Protestantism.

Because of the US massive industrial expansion and production, US industries needed new markets to sell their goods to and they need access to more natural resources to ensure the continued production. The US expanded its inluences into Alaska, the Pacific (Hawaii, Samoa, Guam, and the Philippines), Latin America and Asia (China and Japan)
