<h2>Answer:</h2>

Hence, the probability is:

            \dfrac{1}{6^4}\ or\ 0.000772

<h2>Step-by-step explanation:</h2>

It is given that:

A fair die is rolled four times. A 2 is considered "success," while all other outcomes are "failures."

This means that the probability of 4 successes is the outcome such that each of the four die will result in the outcome 2.

Also, the probability of 2 in each of the die is: 1/6

( since, there are total 6 outcomes in a die {1,2,3,4,5,6} and out of which there is only one '2' )

Also, we know that the outcome on one die is independent on the other this means that  the probability of 4 successes is:

=\dfrac{1}{6}\times \dfrac{1}{6}\times \dfrac{1}{6}\times \dfrac{1}{6}\\\\\\\\=\dfrac{1}{6^4}\\\\\\=0.000772

X(21)+x(4)=300 I need solving
Genrish500 [490]

Answer:

12

Step-by-step explanation:

21x + 4x = 300         Put brackets around the first two terms.

(21x + 4x) = 300        Pull the x outside the brackets. Use the distributive property.  Combine the left

25x = 300                 Divide by 25

25x/25=300/25        Do the division

x = 12

The smallest object visible with your eyes is similar to the width of a piece of hair, which is 1×10−4 meters wide. Using an opt
Sloan [31]

Answer:

B. 5\times10^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

We are told that the smallest object visible with our eyes is similar to the width of a piece of hair, which is 1\times 10^{-4} meters wide.

Using an optical microscope, we can see items up to 2\times 10^{-7} meters wide.

To find the objects we can see with our eyes are how much larger than the objects we can see with an optical microscope, we can set an equation as:

\frac{\text{The width of the object we can see with our eyes}}{\text{The width of the objects we can see with microscope}}=\frac{1*10^{-4}}{2*10^{-7}}

Using the exponent rule of quotient \frac{a^m}{a^n}=a^{m-n} we will get,

\frac{\text{The width of the object we can see with our eyes}}{\text{The width of the objects we can see with microscope}}=\frac{1}{2}*10^{-4-(-7)}

\frac{\text{The width of the object we can see with our eyes}}{\text{The width of the objects we can see with microscope}}=0.5*10^{-4+7}

\frac{\text{The width of the object we can see with our eyes}}{\text{The width of the objects we can see with microscope}}=0.5*10^{3}

\frac{\text{The width of the object we can see with our eyes}}{\text{The width of the objects we can see with microscope}}=0.5*10\times 10^{3-1}

\text{The object we can see with our eyes}=5\times10^{2}*\text{The objects we can see with microscope}

Therefore, the objects we can see with our eyes are 5\times10^{2} times larger than the objects we can see with an optical microscope and option B is the correct choice.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Assuming you want to find the value of n.

\sqrt{\frac{p}{q} } =(\frac{q}{p}) ^{1-2n} \\

Remember when bases are same exponents can be made equal

Here the bases are different

because notice on one side there is p/q and on the other q/p

what can we do to make them same?

You can invert the any side you want either make leftside as q/p or make right one as p/q

I will make left side as q/p

All you do is flip the denominator and numerator to do so. But that can only be done if you put a (-1) in the exponent

so underroot p/q means (p/q)^1/2 when i make it q/p

a negative one needs to be put in the exponent. That -1 when multiplied by 1/2 makes it -1/2

Now the bases are same such like.

(\frac{q}{p} )^{-1/2} = (\frac{q}{p}) ^{1-2n}

See now the bases are same, the powers can be made equal

so

-1/2=1-2n

here n is the variable we need to find

rearrange the equation

n=3/4
