Interphase has the cells carry out the functions that are needed to survive and the cells that divide prepare for reproduction. Mitosis has the cell’s nucleus divide. Cytokinesis is when the duplicated contents of mitosis are made into two daughter cells. Without these three things we would not be able to survive.
