I am sure it is A because you have the adjectives gritty, dark and indistinct imagery that could explain fear and uncertainty.

“My mouth is always the reason i get in trouble”

Idiom-a group of words established by usage as having a meaning not deducible from those of the individual words. (Ex. A piece of cake)

Onomatopoeia-the formation of a word from a sound associated with what is named (Ex. Boom or crack)

Hyperbole-exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally. (Ex.This guy escapes more times than Houdini)

I would say that this sentence is an hyperbole. This is because an idiom would be a form of figurative meaning that if different from the literal meaning. This is statement is bluntly advertised. There is no hidden meaning behind it. The word doesn’t resemble a sound either so it cannot be an onomatopoeia. I hope this helps

What is the meaning an essay
Irina-Kira [14]

Answer:

An essay is, generally, a piece of writing that gives the author's own argument, but the definition is vague, overlapping with those of a letter, a paper, an article, a pamphlet, and a short story. Essays have traditionally been sub-classified as formal and informal. Formal essays are characterized by "serious purpose, dignity, logical organization, length," whereas the informal essay is characterized by "the personal element (self-revelation, individual tastes and experiences, confidential manner), humor, graceful style, rambling structure, unconventionality or novelty of theme," etc.

I hope it's helpful!
