Why is it so important for lawmakers to act against discrimination based on<br> hairstyles?
Aleksandr [31]
It’s important because hair discrimination IS race discrimination. sadly, it is not new, and it is not novel. minorities have suffered hair discrimination for years. a recent study found that african american women face the highest instances of hair discrimination and are more likely to be sent home from the workplace because of their hair. The study also uncovered that 80 percent of african american women felt they needed to switch their hairstyle to align with more conservative standards in order to fit in at work. hair discrimination occurs not only in the workplace, but in schools as well.

Name the poetic device used in the line, 'Did you finish your homework?, Did you tidy your room?
masha68 [24]

Answer:

The full question is:

Name the poetic device used in the line

'Did you finish your homework, Amanda? '

'Did you tidy your room, Amanda? '

'I thought I told you to clean your shoes, Amanda!'

Explanation:

Tidy means to arrange in order and neatly.

Amanda is currently being given some information about whether she has completed her schoolwork, or cleaned up her room and furthermore whether she has cleaned her shoes. These directions denotes a move from the guidelines given before. Presently, Amanda is being trained about the things that are related to her environment. The example of guidelines clarifies that every part of her is identified with addressing and appropriate direction. She is being trained for each easily overlooked detail, causing her to lose each part of hers. Her honesty is inevitably getting lost with the passage of time. The manner in which these directions are conveyed brings up the normal idea of these exercises. Her name being called again with an exclamation mark demonstrates that her parents appear to be getting impatient and upset with her. They are defenseless in bringing right 'perception' to this young lady as she isn't paying legitimate regard to the directions given by them.
