Further Explanation

The disamenity sector in South American cities contains very narrow unchanging slums that are called barrios or fellas. These areas are highly dominated by poor people and most of them are forced to live in the street. There is no law enforcement in these communities. Most of the activities are being run by drug lord and mostly involves in a battle for dominance.

Slum in general refers to informal settlements that are within urban areas. It is highly populated areas and mostly characterized by substandard housing. Most of the slums don’t have reliable electricity, consistent supply of water and law enforcement.

Between 18th and 20th century, slums were very common in the Europe and the United States. Today, slums are present extensively in urban areas in developing and undeveloped countries. oee [108]

Answer:

In China, food shortages, corruption in government, and high rates of opium addiction led to the Taiping Rebellion.

Explanation:

The Taiping Rebellion was a major uprising that took place in the south, then the center of China, between 1851 and 1864; this revolt, which the Qing dynasty took nearly fifteen years to defeat, takes its name from the kingdom that the rebels had founded in southern China and central China, Taiping Tian Guo, or "Heavenly Kingdom of the Great Peace".

The founder of the movement, Hong Xiuquan (1814-1864), who had read religious pamphlets given by missionaries, called himself the younger brother of Jesus Christ. He promulgated an agrarian reform after the capture of Nanjing in 1853, in which he instituted deep social reforms such as the abandonment of polygamy; gender equality, however accompanied by a strict separation between men and women; the abandonment of the old custom of bandaging women's feet; the prohibition of arranged marriages, gambling, slavery, torture, and prostitution; private land ownership was abolished; food, clothing and other everyday consumer goods were pooled in public warehouses, and distributed to the population as necessary by military leaders; opium, tobacco and alcohol were also then banned.

Between 30 and 50 million people are estimated to have died as a direct result of the conflict. By the way, between 1850 and 1873, China's population was reduced by more than 60 million as a result of rebellions, wars, drought and famine.

scoundrel [369]

Answer:

I disagree with Federalist Alexander Hamilton. Although the Constitution does guarantee many rights to the American people, a lot of other rights still have not been mentioned or clarified. A bill of rights is necessary in order to ensure that the rights of the American people are protected and that more rights can be added or changed over time which allows the people to secure their rights.

How did the renaissance lead to european exploration?
lisabon 2012 [21]

What were some of the characteristics of the European Renaissance that prompted and promoted the exploration and settlement of the New World?

This was a time when new ideas were introduced to Europe. Up until this time Europe was still in the backwaters while middle-Eastern Islamic cultures were flourishing with discoveries in science and math. The eyes of the Europeans were opened through the Crusades. This was the time when the minds of the people became more focused on H.S.I (Humanism, Secularism, and Individualism). . Answer . Europe was filled with plague and beheadings at that time, so it wasn't a happy place.

What is one effect of the unequal distribution of resources?
Phantasy [73]

Best answer: B. Trade networks develop to exchange resources.

When one nation or region has resources that others do not, it can use those resources as a trade commodity to exchange with other nations. For instance, areas that have rich oil resources will export oil to countries that don't have oil reserves as a natural resource. In turn, those countries may have other commodities that they can exchange -- agricultural resources from countries with fertile agricultural land, for instance.
