Kandinsky is considered the father of abstract art. His work is extremely influential worldwide, being considered one of the greatest Russian artists that has ever existed.

In 1896, Kandinsky went through several events that shaped his perception of himself, life and art. That year, he dropped out of law school because he felt that this was not the right career for him, and enrolled at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts, however, he did not pass the admission exam, which made him question his choices and his artistic talents.
