I would guess b.

Mainly because it says *my* and that it later describes how his would be. It never suggests a philosopher in the text. So C is out and D doesn’t make sense. A isn’t correct.

Tone of the poem is the way that the author expresses his/ her attitude to the topic in his writing. If a writer is angry about something, they will most likely have a angry tone which could reflect the tone or attitude of that time.
